Then use a thin guitar pick to enlarge the gap. Be careful and patient not to break the back glass. Step 3. Unscrew six Phillips screws There are six Phillips screws in the Xperia Z2. Unscrew them by Phillips screwdriver. Step 4. Remove the battery Disconnect the cable and peel off the tape fastening the battery flex. Pry up the battery by spudger. Step 5. Remove the motherboard Remove the black bracket on the left of the motherboard, which is fixed by a hidden key. Release 5 connectors on the motherboard including rear camera cable, earphone jack cable, main flex cable, magnetic flex cable and antenna RF connector. Remove the motherboard. Step 6. Remove the earpiece The earpiece is fastened by strong adhesive. Loosen it by tweezers starting from the left side. And then take away the earpiece.
