How to change the earpiece for Xperia Z2?
Step 1. Turn off the phone
Step 2. Remove the back cover
Heat up the edges of the back cover by a heat gun to melt the adhesive around it.
Use a suction cup to open a gap when the adhesive is softened. Then use a thin guitar pick to enlarge the gap. Be careful and patient not to break the back glass.
Step 3. Unscrew six Phillips screws
There are six Phillips screws in the Xperia Z2. Unscrew them by Phillips screwdriver.
Step 4. Remove the battery
Disconnect the cable and peel off the tape fastening the battery flex.
Pry up the battery by spudger.
Step 5. Remove the motherboard
Remove the black bracket on the left of the motherboard, which is fixed by a hidden key.
Release 5 connectors on the motherboard including rear camera cable, earphone jack cable, main flex cable, magnetic flex cable and antenna RF connector.
Remove the motherboard.
Step 6. Remove the earpiece
The earpiece is fastened by strong adhesive. Loosen it by tweezers starting from the left side. And then take away the earpiece.

Attention: When assemble the back cover, a piece of new back cover adhesive will be needed as a must-have item because it’s disposable and the old one can't be used any more.
