Description
-Brand new and original rear camera replacement.
-Compatible with Sony Xperia Z3 or Sony Xperia Z3 Compact.
-This primary camera for Xperia Z3 Compact is a 20.7MP camera complete with autofocus, able to record 4K video.
-It is used to replace the faulty/broken/defective rear facing camera.
Common Problems:
1. Camera exit automatically
- The camera does not work and automatically springs back to the desktop when it is opened.
2. Camera black screen
- Try to use the rear camera the display turns black.
3. Photo stripes
- When the camera is taking pictures, there are white stripes on the photo.
How to solve?
1. Camera exit automatically
- After the phone is dropped or violently shaken, it will loose the camera flex cable.
- Gently press the back cover area between the LED flashlight and the lens, if the image no come back, disassemble the phone then reconnect the camera flex cable.
2. Camera black screen
- This may be a camera application cache problem.
- Clear the Camera cache in settings>Application>camera. Then Clear the whole Application Cache in Settings>Storage and memory>internal memory>(swipe down to). Clear the shared application memory (or something like that).
3. Photo stripes
- Maybe there’s scratch on the camera lens. First, look at the scratches on the camera cover or camera lens. If only the rear cover lens glass, you only need to change the rear cover lens glass. Tips for replacement:
1. Test the new camera before installing the back cover adhesive.
2. Afresh disassemble the original adhesive will lose best viscidity, so you need to care about whether the adhesive is installed in to precise place.

How to replace
Power off Sony Xperia Z3 Compact.
Step 1. Heat up the back cover for one minute.
Step 2. Insert the guitar pick to open a gap from the bottom of the back cover.
Step 3. Slide the guitar picks along the back cover and pry it up by the suction cup.
Step 4. Remove the rear camera retaining bracket.
Step 5. Disconnect the rear camera connector.
Step 6. Remove the rear camera.
