Description

-Repair tools needed: Heat gun or hair dryer, guitar picks, Phillips screwdriver, Torx screwdriver, and suction cup.
-Must-have items needed to finish the installation: Front housing sticker.
How to replace
Step 1. Power off your phone.
Step 2. Remove the SIM card tray and SD card tray.
Step 3. Heat up the top and bottom loudspeaker mesh and then remove them.
Step 4. Unscrew two Phillips screws on the top and four Torx screws on the bottom.
Step 5. Insert the guitar pick to pry open a gap on the bottom.
Step 6. Pry open up the front assembly from the rear case.
Attention: There are many hidden keys along four sides. Unlock them carefully.
Step 7. Separate the rear case from LCD assembly.
Step 7. Release five connectors including digitizer connector, LCD connector, USB board connector, loudspeaker connector and antenna cable connector.
Step 8. Undo the screw under the loudspeaker connector.
Step 9. Remove the USB port. Be careful of its underlying adhesive.
Step 10. Cut the adhesive of LCD flex cable and let it free from the battery.
Step 11. Heat up the screen around its sides.
Step 12. Hold up the screen by the suction cup.
Step 13. Pull out the flex cable of the slot.
Step 14. Remove the LCD screen.
Attention: Test the new LCD screen before you reassemble the phone.
