-Repair tools needed: hair dryer or heat gun, torx screwdriver, Philips screwdriver, spudger and guitar picks.
How to replace
Step 1. Power off your phone.
Step 2. Remove the SIM card tray and SD card tray.
Step 3. Heat up the top and bottom loudspeaker mesh and then remove them.
Step 4. Unscrew two Phillips screws on the top and four Torx screws on the bottom.
Step 5. Insert the guitar pick to pry open a gap on the bottom.
Step 6. Pry open up the front assembly from the rear case.
Attention: There are many hidden keys along four sides. Unlock them carefully.
Step 7. Separate the rear case from LCD assembly.
Step 8. Remove all connectors related to the motherboard.
Step 9. Undo three Torx screws fasten on the motherboard.
Step 10. Remove the motherboard.
Step 11. Undo the four Phillips screws fastening on the daughterboard.
Step 12. Release the power button flex from the slot.
Step 13. Cut the underlying adhesive under the daughterboard.
Step 14. Remove the daughter assembly.
Step 15. Remove the earpiece.
